We have the pleasure of stages 10 ( Cuneo to Pinerolo) and 11 (Torino to Arenzano) all within stiking range of our base in Fenestrelle. In fact the Cuneo to Pinerolo stage passes right past our accommodation! With the rest day after Milan stage 9 there could be plenty of chances to se the teams out checking the mountain stage.

We are offering a chance for you to be not just one of the 250 million spectators but the chance to actually be there on the ground to watch it at two stages and take part in the "Tappa Leggenda" Gran fondo (sportive. 216km)

We can offer only six places on this exclusive week which will include the awsome Colle delle Finestra, the third hardest climb in Europe after Zoncolan and Mortirolo! To secure the places on the 160 Km Gran Fondo Legenda (Italian equivalent of the "Etape") You need to book by 20th of April!

The outline programme for this special week is as follows.

Friday 15th May Arrival and collection from Turin, Welcome dinner and briefing

Saturday 16th May Introductory ride to Colle del Sestriere

Sunday 17th May Gran Fondo "Tappa Legenda" (160km)

Monday 18th May Recovery ride on the "Pianura Pinerolese"

Tuesday 19th May Drive to Cuneo for the start of the stage, cycle to Pinerolo to in time for the finish!

Wednesday 20th Drive to Turin for the Start and ride back to Fenestrelle

Thursday 21st Colle delle Finestre

Friday 22nd Departures.

The price for this etraordinary week is €700 per person including entry to GF Tappa della Legenda.

Booking must be made by 20th April 2009

This trip includes entry to Tappa Legenda, half board accomodation in our 16th century "casa montagna"(one evening meal out at own expense) wine with evening meal, Menu specially designed for cyclists and made mainly with local and organic produce. Transfers to and from Turin Caselle Airport/Turin rail terminals or Cuneo Levaldigi airport, Vehicle support where required (always on call), guided rides, secure bike store, workshop for minor repairs, bike shop on call.

For a group booking we may be able to arrange a special session with Guido Trentin with the possibility of being introduced personally to the teams!
